MUSHROOM TIKKI



Ingredients


Serves 4



12-15 Fresh button mushrooms
2 tbsps + to shallow fry Oil
3 medium sized Onions (chopped)
4 large sized Potatoes (boiled and mashed)
2-3 Green chillies (chopped)
2 tbsps Fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
Salt to taste
1 cup Semolina (rawa/suji)



Method
Boil mushrooms in water for about ten minutes. Drain and chop them finely.Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté till soft and translucent. Add mushrooms and sauté till all the moisture gets evaporated. Take potatoes in a bowl. Add green chillies to the mushrooms and mix. Add this mixture to the potatoes and mix well. Add coriander leaves and salt and mix.Heat oil in a pan. Keep semolina in a plate. Shape the mixture into tikkis. Roll them in semolina, press slightly and shallow fry till golden.Serve hot.
